Who we are

N.J. Pawley comes from a long line of horse trainers. He learned to shoe horses in high school, became a farrier, and has forged full time in Cody since 2008. A Sundance Catalog order turned into a residency at Sundance Resort:

"I said, I can build a thousand of those."

As recently featured in Cowboy State Daily: “Cody Blacksmith N.J. Pawley Wasn’t An Artist Until Robert Redford Told Him He Was”

Every build happens on camera, from hat racks and dinner bells to knives and custom work, finished with linseed oil the old way.
